How I am giving back and honoring God this summer through photography.

As a photographer, I find deep significance in giving back and honoring God through my work. It is a privilege to utilize my creative talents to capture special moments for others, particularly within the context of serving my church community. This year, I have had the joy of photographing and filming the Vacation Bible School (VBS) at Hiland Park Baptist Church in Panama City, Florida. It has been a truly fulfilling experience to document these cherished moments for the children, and my utmost hope is that above all, God is honored and that we can bring joy, peace, and love into the lives of these amazing children.

For me, giving back is at the core of my values as a photographer. It was about a year ago while sitting in service that the pastor was preaching about using your talents for the greater good of God, and that is when I really started to look for every opportunity, whether it was maternity, newborn, a wedding or event photography with in our church. I truly just look for every opportunity God puts in front of me. I believe that by selflessly offering my photography and videography services to events like VBS, I am contributing in a meaningful way to uplifting and blessing those around me. The images and videos I capture go beyond mere visuals; they encapsulate the essence of the event and serve as lasting memories for both the children and their families to treasure.

Honoring God in my work is a paramount goal that guides my artistic endeavors. With every click of my camera, I see it as an act of worship, a way to express gratitude for the talents and opportunities bestowed upon me. Through my commitment to serving my church community with my photography, I aim to spread light, beauty, and positivity in alignment with my faith and values.

As I document the moments of joy, learning, and community during VBS, I am reminded that my work has the potential for a far-reaching impact. Each image carries the potential to touch hearts, inspire service, and ultimately glorify God through the beauty and goodness it captures. I hope that my photographs not only reflect the love and happiness experienced during VBS but also serve as a testament to the transformative power of kindness, generosity, and faith-driven work.

In conclusion, using my photography talents to give back and honor God in my work is a profound and fulfilling endeavor. Through my contributions to the VBS program at Hiland Park Baptist Church, I aim to sow seeds of love, hope, and faith in the hearts of the children and the community. May my dedication, passion, and commitment encourage others to do the same with their gifts and also continue to bring blessings and light into the world, enriching lives, and glorifying God in all that I do.
